"Ram's Head Lady's-Slipper"
pencil/watercolour/gouache
Most of my watercolour paintings begin as a pencil drawing. I am greatly inspired by the beauty of our local flora, fauna and fungi, Petoskey stones, and the little folk that inhabit the land. I am never sure what will come from one piece of artwork to the next, but I always try to be open to the whispers that spark inspiration & creativity.
